JACKAROO BEAU – enjoying his first 4 months of his life

When Beauiii arrived at my home, he was a very very veeeeery cheeky, naughty and fearless puppy. I just remember I was like “oh my god, this little dog is CRAZYYY!!”. I prayed for calm and silence from sleeping phase to sleeping phase. ;-) But (!) at the same time, Beauiii is one of the most loveable and charming puppy I have ever met. He is extremely attentive and willing to learn. He has settled down in my home and within the rest of the pack very fast and holds us quite a lot on trot.

Days are fleeing … Beauiii loses his puppy face, grows and grows and although he is still a bit clumsy with his large paws and long legs, he is becoming more confident on those and also becoming a dog in best young age with well shaped body.

In general, Beauiii is very uncomplicated – curious towards new things, fearless; cheeky, natural and untutored behave towards other dogs; very friendly and open minded to people; very playful, but can also busy himself in a quiet way. In serious matters it is better to keep calm – he likes to talk back. ;-)
As he is the youngest member in my pack, the ranking is – of course – still undefined. Sometimes I have the impression that the other dogs feel scary about this little black dwarf. *gg* But at the end of the day, all are incredibly affectionate and charming and would love to cuddle all day long, same for Beauiii who loves kissing and close body contact. :-)

Everyday Training: as mentioned, Beauiii – also called “Bubibär” :-) – arrived well in his new home and is guided by the other dogs. So daily life was learned after few days. No problems with the other dogs, no difficulties with “rules of play” in the house or dog run, no damages of any kind while I’m working.

Obedience (daily use like positions “sit”, “down” “stay”, …): Beauiii shows high motivation to learn and perform, as well as good ability to concentrate.

Sheep Herding: Beauiii has already met twice a middle-sized group of young sheeps. Again, I had this “oh my god” moment (anxious puppy mum *gg*)! There was no fear, no reluctance or any inhibitions to the three times larger and faster sheeps. ;-) This crazy little Kelpie shows very beautiful and strong natural disposition. This confirms the success of top bloodlines & pedigree!

First Agility steps: completely unafraid with puppy tunnel and puppy bar; very well lead to the hand.

Beaui’s first adventures:

Mid-October – first trip to Carinthia.
Admittedly, it was a little bit stressful to travel with such young dog in some way. Never the less, Beauiii is absolutely suited for travel :-)

End of October – first Agility events.
As long as we take the sleepy box AND the cuddle blanket with us, everything is all right :-)

All in all, sounds like a super puppy! Let me tell you … he is!!! *super proud dog mum* :-)
But honestly and of course, wildness, bad manners and teenage misbehavior (forgetting name during walks or plays, pulling on the leash, barking at foreign dogs & people, no rest while visiting restaurant, jumping on me, pestering the cat, …) still determine his life – and this is a good thing and for sure the most important share at this age.

One more time I want to say THANK YOU to Claudia and Simone for this great mating and of course SPECIAL THANKS to Claudia for her great efforts in raising our puppies.

Beauiii has enriched my life and completed my pack.

BEAUI 9 months – from cheeky little dwarf to balanced young Kelpie guy

As youngest member Beauiii has his position within the pack. Grandpa Niko does his role as best puppy uncle, playmate and cuddle companion. Öani has taken over the education of his nephew. And since Maska has the role of the boss I have the impression, that she is inapproachable for such annoying kids’ stuff.

Today Beauiii’s shoulder height is about 57 cm and he has 17 kg. ...
But in his head he is still the same cheeky puppy as 5 months ago. Even he becomes more and more controllable. He learns things very quickly. Except on the leash, THIS thing he definitely can’t. If he wants, he is very obedient. Of course in this stage of life there are soooo many other interesting things.

In everyday life there are absolutely no problems. Still naughty and fearless, sometimes a bit imprudent.
Daily use obedience: still high motivation to show what he already can do and willing to learn new things.
Agility: very good handling, good concentration, good execution in target matters, no worry about different obstacles and/or equipment.
Sheep Herding: very good natural disposition, not afraid to make pressure.

Beauiii is still very cuddly; pack oriented, especially with Öani; in the evening very “mummy” related and always sleeping on me or at my side.

Beauiii has developed into a very loving, friendly, clever and smart young Kelpie. :-)
